Started a new thread because I have a 2008 RX350 and got notice today to have my oil hose replaced. Called my dealer and it is scheduled for replacemet this Thursday. I was told it would take less than an hour to replace. I'm glad because my RX needs a good cleaning and it has been to cold to wash it myself.

The 08 is the same recall as the others. My dealer called me and I never got the notice in the mail.

I haven't heard/received anything from my dealer about this recall. is this for ALL 2008 RX cars? I'll be visiting the dealer next week and will ask about it and if in fact my car is affected then I'll be questioning why I haven't been notified.

Got my new oil line installed and asked my service mgr if all Lexus RX models were being recalled. He said just certain ones from 2007-2009. He said they may have fixed a dozen and believe me, Little Rock is full of Rx's. He did not say what the criteria was for the ones that are getting recalled.

If your registered with the lexus web site, you can log in to the owners section and it will tell you. My wife never received a letter from the original dealer but that's most likely due to us moveing from NC to CA over a year ago. I took the car into a dealer out in CA and they told me 4 hours (guess they were busy that day) Gave me a loaner and sent me on my way
