condensation in front headlight
Just picked up my new (used)2007 RX350..love the car so far but I noticed condensation in my front light housing! Any thoughts on cause and actions that I should take?

if they will not replace them for you, there is a fix,
remove the two housings, and drill 2 small holes in the bottom of each of them. this will allow air to circulate and remove the condensation.

Let us know how you make out. There is a TSB on this but reports are that certain dealers do not honor the TSB, in that case call Lexus.
I had my condensation after the warranty expired and Lexus did not budge.
So I had to reapir it myself.
I had to seal the leak. Water was leaking into the housing, forming the condensation.
Putting holes will drain it out, but I took the seal it route.

2007 RX350, you have 4 years. Or 50K miles. The TSB is valid for the period. What 6 months are you referring to?

I did what mandyfig suggested on my 04 Rx with great results so far! i only had a problem with my left which caused me to replace the ballast. For safe messure I checked and resealed the right side which had zero indication of moisture after 5 years.
Take care of the problem now before you too have to replace a ballast(if you have factory HID's) and not have the vehicle under warranty.

Ok, you have 8K miles to go with your warranty. I suggest you get the extended warranty from Lexus. You can get it for far less money than advertised. Peace of mind. JMTC.
