Hi-We had an 04 RX330 with dashboard rattles that the dealer fixed under warranty at about 30,000 miles and it did well after that. We traded for an 07 RX350. My wife is primary driver and about 6 months ago started to complain about rattles, about 45,000 mile on the odometer. I could never duplicate them until I drove it this weekend for 12 hours on a trip to Alabama and the car rattled in the front and back. I tried the measures others had posted, moving the rear cover, locking it in, making sure the spare was tight, and the tools,etc, but nothing helped. By now we have over 50,000 miles which is the extent of the warranty for rattles we've been told and I was prepared to wait until spring and start rummaging around under the dash until I could find the front one.
I then found a comment on the extended post about rattles mentioning license plates. Our dealer had put a plastic ad around the front and rear plates and taking them off made the rattles go away. Still occasional flexing noises, which I think are the seats but they are rare and not objectionable like the plate rattles were.
