Question Need quicker pickup

Whenever I punch the gas pedal, there is always a pause before the car goes faster. Does anybody know a way to get rid of that 1 second delay?

There is a transmission re-flash TSB that helps some but this is a chronic complaint for the RX. I personally have no issue with the response but I''m not driving with a lead foot. I saw an improvement with the reflash.

Yeah, some computer programming mistake in the machine. It does not know what to do for a while when you punch it. I find that depressing the pedal fairly quickly in a linear way, but not punching it, gets better acceleration. Also, if you see a need ahead of time, take the tranny out of overdrive.
