When I asked a random toyota dealer who also did lexus about my rx350 for service, this dealer says that they will charge me the lexus price, not the toyota price.
also, i decided to do a 35000 mile service at toyota instead of lexus to save money. just to test them, i decided to change my air filter myself with a lexus filter..and see what they replaced it with. when i got the car back, it had a toyota filter that didn't fit. i can't imagine what else they did wrong. i was really dissapointed. especially because they didn't even tell me. i'm having a hard time finding a toyota dealership that actually will do good work on lexus. they probably feel that we are being cheap and may not provide as good service. just watch out

Join the club. I'm still hunting also. I've taken my Lexus out to NJ to get serviced. I had break service done but it also came with sanding down the rotors which was an additional fee on top of adding the pads. But at least the work was done. I order from Sewell, the parts are much cheaper with discount of being a member of club Lexus.
Not sure which Toyota dealer you went to but I've read one of the threads in another group that someone mentioned to avoid the dealership in Brooklyn (Bay ridge area) they said if they car broke down in front of the dealership they would have their car towed some place else before allowing the dealership to touch it. To me that spoke volumes.
I had a Honda and their Honda Parts dept was horrible in Bay Ridge and on Nostrand Avenue (they all seem to be in the same area Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Hyundai) . They never had any stock and it also took days for them to get stuff in. I got so frustrated I started going to Jersey and haven't looked back.
