here are your choices you can go to the dealer pay $184.00 for the whole window because you cant buy the trim separate from the dealer plus $125,00 to install or you can buy just the window with the trim for $120.00 on e bay but have to get it installed at a window shop for around $80.00 this is the only other option to solve your problem

There is an alternative you can buy the separate trim piece on amazon or e bay

Here is the link to the instructional video that show how to install it hope this helps

There are some great options in this thread; I used silicone for the repair on our 2004 Lexus RX330 and it is still holding fine.

I went to a glass company called Glass America here in Ohio. I’m taking my RX 330 this Saturday to have both rear window trim glued on. I will post how it went.

These moldings are badly designed - rear doors impact them while opening, and "unmount" them as a result.
My right molding has broken while driving on a highway, so I unmount the left one due to not lose it also ($80 at eBay is too expensive for a piece of plastic).

Default RX 330 rear window trim

Like I said, my passenger side rear window trim came loose yesterday while I was on the highway. I took it completely off once I got home. Today I went to a local car window repair company called Glass America. The manager looked at the trim and said he can epoxy it back on. I’m scheduled to take my 2004 RX 330 in this Saturday. In the meantime, I noticed my driver side rear trim was loose as well. So, I took that trim completely off. The hard work is in the preparation. Getting all the old tape off and cleaning the surfaces. I will post before and after pictures and the total cost.

I took my 2004 Lexus RX 330 to Glass America today and the manager put a bead of Urethane on both rear window trim. For $40 the problem was solved and I saved $700.

Years ago when I fixed mine and talked with Safelite, they mentioned a product other than silicone and it must have been what you used. Thanks for the feedback.

I’m glad I was able to get mine fixed for such a cheap price, plus I know it was done right and it will not fall off or come loose in the future. Thank you for leading me in the right direction. Hope this can benefit other Lexus owners.
