Default Removing the entire roof rack

Has anyone removed the entire roof rack? After doing so, will I need to get any parts from the dealer to make it look like it came from the factory without a roof rack?

I removed the roof rack on my wife's 2007 RX. The parts listed in the first post of the thread above were correct and cost about $77 back in Oct 2009. A post toward the end of this thread stated they had trouble getting the parts on Sewell's web site. I'd call them. In my mind RX's look much better w/o the rack. I also removed the rack on a 2001 RX300, the 1st RX my wife drove.

In that thread it also mentioned that if you go to the Vendor Directory you can send a Private Message to Sewell... there is a link there. Let them know what you have and what you are trying to do. They will provide you a link with the part information you need.

Was not needed personally. Mine came sans roof rack as I have the multi-panel moonroof.

Those guys were lucky ordering the parts for so cheap. They raised their prices to double. $54.76 is the quote I got. The Club Lexus code will only go so far. Makes this not such a hot deal any more. I'll just get the bolts with teflon from Home Depot and put some black tape over. It's the top so it'll be hard to notice anyways. For $55 not including shipping and discount, it'll be more than $55. Tape + bolts = ~$2.
