I was told by my dealer that the brake pedal would catch under the mats every now and then so they've recalled them and are in the process of redesigning them. Supposedly they're going to ship me the new mats once they've been produced.

we're using OEM all-weather mats for 3rd year now without any issues. Who told you that the brake pedal may stick?? Its absurd

My dealer (Thompson Lexus, PA). I ordered a set and he informed me there was a recall and the new ones were being designed and would be shipped out to me as soon as they were in.

The old ones are just fine. They are anchored and will not move and interfere with teh gas pedal. Buy they are calling if safe.

I have using them since I bought the RX. OEM Lexus all weather mats rock!

The new design mats I bought for my ES are cheap and flimsy and shouldn't be called a all weather mat.Don't waste your money when the new design mats are available.Get Weathertech's.
I went with Weathertech regular mats(not the Floorliners) for my ES and sold the new design ES mats on Ebay.
I'm very happy with the OEM Lexus all weather mats in my RX.Just keep them hooked!
