Chevron/Texaco you can't miss on. I also like Sunoco and Valero.

Cheapest or cheaper, whichever is cheaper. Isn't it all the same?

All lubes must meet API standards. They can surpass standards of course.

I use Shell 95% of the time. They were one of the first top tier blends and have improved with the Nitrogren blend, supposedly.

Did u ever see a tanker truck go from station to station dropping fuel. Different brands but same tanker truck.

Are there any tanker drivers out there that can varify this or say no it isn't true??

I have not but check this story out: http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/29577609.html

Locally, I know the tankers all get their gas from one place on the north side of Milwaukee, but it is that additives that make the gasoline different. Why else would automobile manufacturers recommend one gasoline over another? www.toptiergas.com

TRUE! Gas is distributed from the same location, regardless of brand. Same truck going around. Additives on the other hand, are specific to the distributors. I do not know how they mix it with their gas.

I know Costco and Kroger, 2 gas sources for me have top tier gas.

I only use Shell, for me, I notice the difference in gas mileage and the smoothness of the engine with the different types of gas. I tried Costco gas when I moved here to SC. I felt that the Costco 93 was almost the same as Shell 87. My car would run better on Shell 87 than it did on Costco 93. I wonder how much detergent in in Costco gas, maybe thats why its so cheap.

I always use Sunoco 'cause it's right next to my house, and more importantly, the price is right. I've never noticed any differences comparing to BP, Exxon or Hess.
