i try to reset the reading last time and i was only driving for about 15 mins. it shows that i'm aveg 10 on MPH which is off. i'm in the city with cars infront anc back. there is no way i drive 10 MPH, i'm at lease 25~30.

i don't know. i'll keep it posted untill the next fill up.

Use "D" and only "D". It sounds like you are using this vehicle like a stick shift.

That explains why. D not 4. Not 3, not 2. D has the overdrive that saves gas.

Nothing wrong with 4, however do not expect 20 MPG.

I use the 4 (use this all the time) and 3 to downshift to help stopping the car instead of burning the brake pads.

Don't confuse him Mandy, using 4 or 3 is not necessary. I understand your point, saving a little on the pads, but the number of times I have ever shifted to 4 is exactly zero.

Hey give the OP a break, on the test drive, my wife had it in 4 instead of D. I looked over at the tach reading over 3,000 rpm at 65 mph and realized something was wrong

Not sure why you would use a $3500 transmission to slow a car to save $350 brakes;-**
