2010 Rx350 Transmission Fluid High Temp

Hey guys,

I have a 2010 RX 350, about 10k miles. I was driving to vegas from LA several weeks ago, and after 2.5 hours of non stop driving, the warning light was on with the message "transmission fluid high temp".

It happened twice on separate occasion to vegas. I took it to the dealer and they said they cannot find the problem from the computer error code.

Can anyone help?

I would have them check the transmission cooler. I would also ask for a loaner while they fixed it, its brand new!

Definitely bring it again and insist they find the problem. There's been a trans failure on the '10 RX over in the 3rd gen forum.

Oh no ! more transmission problems that they WONT recall ?

ahh01010, I can't readily find the thread of the person who had the trans problem. You might want search it using the search button.
