You will have a lot of diff. answers to this.
Ranging from 20k- 60k and maybe more.
Too many variables. City, highway, climate, garage kept, calipers locking up, rotors rusting up, towing, etc....
Also what a technician is considering a "worn" pad for replacing.
My sugg. is have your brakes checked every other oil change or 7500 miles.
Also it's not rare to see rear brakes being done first rather than the fronts.

I used to go through brakes in Mexico City every 6 to 8 months, but on my last set, Akebono ProActs I have been on them for almost 3 years. 60K is a rough general estimate, but again as mentioned above a lot of factors can come into play.

I had the front brakes replaced at 30000 miles with Lexus using the TSIB for a vibration. Now RX is 50K mileage, so should I replace it every 30K miles...
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Depends on thickness of the pads and if there is vibration. You can definitely change them on 30K if you are not worried about cost. Close to 45K will be better.
