Hi,
This topic was probably discussed but the HIDs on my wife's 2005 rx 330 is pointing too low. How much does it cost for the dealer to adjust the level? We just purchased the car used and it is out of warranty already (66K miles). Any advice would be helpful.

Their not malfunctioning are they? No warning light on the dash right? If no to both questions,then they probably do need an adjustment.I recommend calling your local Lexus dealer and ask them how much it would cost for the adjustment.

Pretty much any standard shop can adjust these for you. A Toyota shop should be cheaper.

Ask nicely--mine were done for free when the car was in for service.

we just had ours adjusted this weekend while the car was in for service, did it free. only took since january for them to to get it right. now we can see again! i wish lexus would have them set slightly higher from the factory.

Phillips Screwdriver (+) is the only tool needed.

Thanks for all the replies and the great DIY diagram. I am hoping that I can have the Lexus dealer service this without cost at my next service appointment as this really is a safety issue that came with the car. I've called the Lexus main number and they asked me to ask the dealer first.

Finally got the chance to take the car to the dealer for the first time. The service rep was great and re-aimed the headlights higher for free as an appreciation for being their new customer. I called another dealer prior and they were going to charge me $89 bucks or so.

Anyways, tried out the headlights at night and I can SEE the road now!
