Exclamation Homelink Trouble

I went to reprogram my homlink to my garage door opener after not using for a couple of years. I read the instructions but I do not get a red light at all when trying to program. I checked for a fuse problem but that was not it. Any suggestions?

Is your key turned to the on position?

Try the erase, before you try to re-program.

That doesn't give me a red light either.....tried that as well. Called Lexus, they didn't know what the trouble was either. Going to take it by on Tuesday, hopefully they can trouble shoot.

you have to check if your door opener is the type that rolles the security codes. On the user manuel for the RX there are two different ways to programe your home link.

espeysl - Did you get this fixed at the dealer? Did they tell you what the problem was?

I have the same/similar problem - no response/light at all from any Homelink button, and its not a fuse.

Unhappy Bad homelink?

2004 RX 330. The homelink suddenly stopped working. As with this thread, I have no blinking red light but everything on the car works so I don't believe I have a fuse problem. I could use some help troubleshooting. I took the overhead unit down looking for a loose connection etc with no luck. Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, try holding the TWO OUTSIDE BUTTONS for 30 seconds, do you get lights now?
