I don't know if you can turn the air suspension off in the lowest position. My 04 with the air suspension seems to go down I would say less than an inch from the normal position and another inch up in the high position to equal a total height adjustment of a little over 1 1/2 inches. I measured it once when we first got the vehicle but that was over 5 years ago. Unfortunately it is at work with my wife right now so I can't go measure it again. But I don't know if it is the vehicle you are looking for, for your accommodations as far as how low the vehicle can go.

I wasn't even aware this was an option. Any feedback from owners on how it drives compared to standard models?

I personally think it rides smoother, and still very sporty. And I take California clover off ramps pretty fast in ours. I noticed the differences in rides when we use to get loaner vehicles that didn't have the air suspension. But I think it is all relative to with tire type and sizes. Many owners here know the factory tires are terrible. I tried the Michelin MXV4s one time wasn't happy with those either. I am now riding on a bit wider and shorter tire, the Toyo Proxies STII, 255/50/18. Looks more like an SUV with a meatier tire, and the ride is quieter than either the goodyear or the michelins.

when the 2004 RX came out, it was the only way to get 18" wheels with the RX. I chose the performance package for mainly the look that the 18" graphite wheels added. Its also pretty cool that at speeds above 65, the front end lowers by and inch so be more aerodynamic.

I dont drive enough regular RXs to notice a difference in the ride

Not that I drove non-performance RXs often either but one difference I remember was the steering. It was tighter in mine, not as much play. The wheels were pretty cool like RXSF said. I ordered mine sight unseen for the sequential shifting and AFS, the only way to get them back then.

ManXP Is it possible to take a pic of the button that turns off the front parking sensors? Were the sensors from the factory? How many are there?

What does the Set button next to the Air Suspension Off button do?
I also have a 2004 Toyota Harrier AIRS model with the performance package and panoramic roof. This is a rare setup.
You can see pics in my post here

richardrx, beautiful RX with that panoramic roof. I drove one of them at a Lexus event years back but I wonder how many people actually bought them here in the states. I wish they'd bring it back.

I am eyeing one of these myself.. I found a bunch of used ones 2004 only, but they have 80-90k miles. The one in chicago was still on the market last I checked, they lowered the price from 24,8 to 22,8k even. If it didn't have the wood kit the vehicle looks like it'd be a great ride.. I'd consider it being CPO'd and having the air.

It's not in any of the packages in the US. I believe it is available in Europe since there is information about it in the owner's manual. I don't mind because I never used it in my 330 anyway.
