How do you remove and replace a rear wipper blade on a Lexus RX 350 1997

Don't think they made a RX 350 in 1997. Don't even think they had any RX model in 1997. Do you mean 2007? Anyways, just buy the insert from the dealer. They just slide in and out of the holder.

It's more like a tug. Pull the edge of the wiper down to get started. And make sure you keep the metal pieces for the new inserts.

I couldn't find a single aftermarket wiper blade that would fit on that rear wiper. The dealer charges around $6 for a replacement blade (just the rubber blade and not even a replacement wiper arm).

I bought the wiper insert from Lexus. Have to remove the end cap (pop it out carefully) and you can fold up the wiper and then do your swap.

so,you bought a Lexus right? that insert will out last any after market thing you put on their. some people think 6 bux is a lot for a little rubber strip, hence my remark re;bullet.

Aftermarket is not nearly as good as OEM. Spend the money once.

fair enough. but i bought one aftermarket 'universal' for 9$, and it didn't fit.

hence why 6$ as 'a lot' of money seems absurd to me...
