Default Covered holes in front bumper?

About 10 inches towards the middle from each fog light in the front bumper are two openings, each with a cover plate over it. What are these for? It's not a towing hook. One of the cover plates was lost. Where can I get a replacement? Thanks.

Intelligent cruise control. Sensors go there when equipped with that option. Very few were actually produced with this option far as I can tell. Can't help you with finding a replacement cover.

Dealer should have what you're looking for

Very true! If I was to guess the most frequent part replaced (other than maintenance and wear items) it would be the bumpers. It seems people are apprehensive in talking to the parts department, but they are your first logical choice. If the price is high you can move on. My personal experience has been very positive with Lexus parts in Austin.

If I understand you, they ARE towing hooks. If you peel off the little cover, there is a threaded hole underneath. Go into the jack parts, and you will see a mating eyebolt that screws into that hole.

My guess is for the towing hook as well.

Default Mission Accomplished

Yes, I purchased the replacement cover at a Lexus dealer. It is the cover for the towing hook hole. The part with tax was about $12. They painted it at no charge.

Can't beat that deal. Paint/clear cost more than $12
