Hi. I just purchased an '09 RX 350 with stock stereo (no ML, no Nav). I need to either install a new stereo with mp3 jack/USB port or add an mp3 jack/USB port to the existing system. Any recommendations or suggestions? I will be using the iPhone 4 as my iPod (currently 3GS, but not for long!), so it needs to be compatible with that.

Well known that there is no mp3 or axillary jack. Silly there isn't but tis true. Try the search feature. There are several options including pictures and step by step on how to take out the head unit if you need that sort of help. Vaistech is a popular choice but there are others.

I don't know what will be compatible with iphone 4 since it's so new but anything that works with 3GS would be promising. The few times I had to call the Vais tech line or emailed them (even before I bought) I got good results so you may want to talk to them about the iphone.

Thanks, Greg. I searched the forum yesterday but hadn't uncovered that RX-specific thread. It's very helpful. I'll talk to my Apple guru friend about any compatibility issues with the iPhone 4.

Looking forward to getting my hands on that steering wheel... my first Lexus. My nest is finally empty enough to downsize from Suburbans!
