Hi, new to the forum, just purchased a 2006 RX awd. When accelerating hard, I get a very unstable shift from the rear end, it seems. Then, when coming off of the power, or when it shifts, the entire car wobbles from left to right. It almost seems as though the power is being transfered unequally to the different corners of the car. Anyone had this issue, or have any ideas?? This is very unnerving, and I'm afraid my wife could lose control in a low traction situation.

Yeah, we've had it for about a month, but unless you accelerate hard, it rides and drives like a dream. We just started noticing it when I took off hard to get on the interstate one day.

ur best bet would be to get it checked by mechanic. Since I cant see the car, i cant tell you whats wrong with it from just hearing the symptoms as it doesnt seem like a common issue..
could be from anything from bushings, to broken mount, to bent tierod, to problem with the AWD system. Best bet is bring it to a shop with a hoist and jack up the car to check the bottom. Then they'll be able to tell you instantly if something seems out of place.
