Default Remote "guts"

I bought a new key for my 2005 Rx330, but now I need the transponder "guts" for it. What's the best place to get one, other than dealer? I know I have to take it to them or a locksmith to get it programmed.

Do a bit of home work.

For programing, the instructions are floating around the net. You can do it yourself, provided, you posses a maser key.

I may be misinformed, so verify this ... there may be two types of remotes guts. Open the good one you have and make sure the one you buy matches the color.

there are two types one with remote trunk opener, the other without trunk remote opener button. Make sure your master one number matches the new one you want to buy.

you may try this
upto year 2003 though

http://www.programyourremote.com/cla...se.asp?cid=372

worst case scenario is you may have to take all keys with you to dealer or locksmith to program. Be careful with the adding part of the instruction.

If you have 2 keys at hand and you need to add the 3rd one try the add instruction. NO guarantee it will work though. let us know.

As i said try to add the new remote with the add instruction given, I have no way to get the 07 one. I presumed your key has been cut. Worst scenario is to get all the keys in your hand and go to the dealer or locksmith for programming.
