chrome

I have cut my hand on the chrome that is peeling off of the driver side interior door handle. 2004 RX 330. How should this be fixed? (I know, I get a bandaid...but what about the RX?) Coincidentially, I received in the mail today a letter from my 2005 Chevy Tahoe Warranty Division which said: If this "chrome peel on iterior door" happens to your Tahoe, have the dealer repair it and we will foot the bill. (my liberal paraphrase)

You can try going to your Lexus dealer and ask them if they can do something about it. You'll never know.

i doubt they will cover it, as the car is 6 years old and has no warranty,

i would call the dealer and get a price,

the same thing happened on my 97 accord a few years back, i grabbed some 2 minute 2 part epoxy and just lightly covered it, it actually turned out pretty good and lasted long

If you can somehow abrade the area with a small piece of sanpaper (wear gloves), then whatever you would do to cover the area will stick a lot better, and you may actually reduce the sharpness of the flake area.
