VSC light and Engine light
hi, i am new to this forum.
recently i am having problem in my Lexus RX330 2005. the VSC and engine light is coming on. and if i press the accelerator ,on neutral, the rpm is not rising.
please help.

You need to hook up the OBDII scanner to read engine code. Your options are buy the scanner, take your RX to auto shops like Autozone or take it to a competent mechanic.
You can disconnect the battery for 10-15 min to clear some of the codes. If the problem is really there, the CEL light will come back in a short time.
Search for CEL [check engine light] and you will find many discussions.

my idiot lights were caused by my daughter leaving the engine running and toping off the gas. I made an appointment with Lexus and the lights just went off after a week. So I cancelled my appointment. Just my 2 cents

sorry for replying you late....
your advice to disconnect the batery worked and i dont have those lights anymore.
but the accelerator start working by changing one of the fuse....actually i checked all the fuses and found one gone...so i changed it and that worked...
