Greetings -
Don't like the FM transmitter. Local Lexus dealer recommended VaisTech.
Is this something DIY. Any pointers on step by step instructions on how to install - I have no ideal how to open up the stereo system etc.
Also any experience on sound output of VaisTech or recommend something else.

VAIS has excellent customer support. I'd give them a shout. I had the Soundlinq in my 330 to play the iPod. Worked great. An installer put it in for me but a few people have done it themselves. Taking out the radio is not difficult.

This may not be as seamless a solution as you need but in my 06 RX330 and 04 LS430 I use a $5 tape adapter to hook into the ipod. It works great, but it is the simple no frills solution.
