2.5 hrs.to do the TSB on trans.

Looking to get mine done also but not looking forward to convince my dealership of the TSIB. Man, it's like twisting arm with these guys. They just don't like to do anything that is TSIB related - Only expensive services (you paid out of your pockets) and recalls which they don't really have any choice.

I'm getting an '04 RX330 w. 19K miles on it from an estate sale in a week or so. I'm certain that it does not have the TSB on the tranny. I've driven it a couple of times, but being an unfamiliar vehicle to me, I can't tell much about the shifting response. Too many other things to pay attention to. Could someone please tell me what to tell the dealer when I take it in so as to get them to do the work under warranty?
I understand that it is slow to shift... But, shifting up? Down? I floored it once on the freeway and it seemed to downshift pretty much OK to accelerate. maybe a little catch in it, not sure. Is that it? What else?
Thanks,
Dave

Seem`s to mostly affect the AWD`s. If your`s is a FWD, you may not even need it done. The tsib is on here, just scroll through, you`ll find it.

I had this done a year ago and it does improve in the shift. The car did not reverse back to the old symptom. It worthed not because it is free, but it does improve the shifting in the low speed.
I do notice my mpg is lower a bit, but it worthed.
