I have a trailer hitch on our 2005 RX330. It also has the wiring connector by the hitch. I bought the RX330 CPO and I don't know if it originally had the factory towing option or if just the hitch and wiring were added later. How can I tell?

if you go to the dealer where the vehicle was originally purchased and ask for the service history, if it was added, there should be a date when that was done.

trouble is, finding the purchasing dealer, and with privacy laws, convincing them to look.

you might be able to call customer service and have them run the VIN
