I noticed today a humming sound when i turn my a/c on..i only hear it when i press down on the gas pedal to accelerate...also everytime i make a complete stop like when I am at the red light my car has some sort of vibration but goes away once i get moving...could this be caused my the motor mounts I got changed a few months ago?

My 2005 RX330 had the the same "A/C Moan Noise" problems. But it was repaired by a Lexus dealership for free due to CPO

A CPO, stands for certified pre-owned. In your case this has nothing to do with anything as you have owned the car for quite some time, correct? Plus, if you don't know what CPO is, chances are your car was NOT a CPO.

As others have asked, what year is your RX, and is it under warranty? Remember you may not have the same problem as the other member.

I bought my car from a Toyota Dealership not from Lexus. I bought it last October 09...and the year of my car is 04 with 71K miles so I am sure I am out of warranty. Can I buy these parts elsewhere? IT jus seems that with in the year almost I am starting to sun into so many problem it's becoming fustrating not sure if I should just trade it in. I luv my RX but to many things after another.

MY 06 rx330 used to have the a/c noise during summer. Dealer fixed it under warranty two years ago when the car had about 30k. The a/c clutch was replaced.

Can I find these parts somewhere else other thent he dealer?
