Hi everyone, I am expecting twins Dec 2010 and am about to shop for car seats. I have read that if you need 2 seats installed, the safest place is one in the middle seat and one behind the passenger seat - but I wonder if there is enough room in the back of my RX400h for this? or if I will have to install them behind the driver and passenger seats instead?

Also, are there brands that are absolutely off-limits for my vehicle type? I live in Canada.

i would be surprised if you could fit one in the middle and one on the side, i agree it would be safer, but i dont think there is any room. i have one in the center position, and it is next to impossible for someone to buckle up beside the car seat.

i am pretty sure Sears allows you take the demo and try it in your car.

not to mention, the UAS latches probably wont accomodate the extra seat.

also, once they get older, you wont want them side by side.

another tip, i put an old towel under the seat to prevent the leather from being permanently indented.
