wanted to tint my front windows to match the rear.
any good recommendation on the brand of tint used? and what shade or percentage?
I am in Los Angeles County Area... if you know a good shop, that would be great.
thanks a lot for your answers

Don't know if this would help but when I bought my RX a couple of weeks ago I asked where they (the dealership) sent theirs to for tinting. I called the shop & was charged $70 for the front 2 windows, which was less that 1/2 what the dealership would have wanted if they sent it out to be done. Was the same tint the dealership would guarantee. Don't have the paperwork handy but it was a recognizable brand.

I'm planning on tinting my widows as well. At first I wanted to just to the fronts to match, but I was told that the rear windows are not UV protected. Now, I'm not sure if this is true as I don't recall reading it anywere for or against, but if they are not UV proteceted, than I will tint the fronts and tint the rear with a very light UV tint just for the full protection.

autosound specialists, on beach blvd and westminster ave do great tinting. They have 2 guys that have been there for many years just doing tints.

Their prices are very competitive, but go there for the quality. I had one of my old cars done by the guy who does mercedes of newport beach cars, but he isn't as good as beach autosound. I would use their lifetime tint sp45 or sp35.

since ur not in california, i think u guys can use even the darkest tint for the front. it's only us californians that have to risk it, or go with only 30% (i think this is the darkest legal tint for the front)

In NJ, NO tint is legal on front windows, but I always do all my cars. Best friend and brother in law are police officers so I get family PBA cards. I have only got pulled over 3 times in the last 4yrs. Most police officers in NJ have their own cars done so they dont really care about that law. I guess I will just have the tint shop match the shade.
