Here's a couple more pics of the sidesteps also painted. You can buy them prepainted as well (instead of taking them to a body shop).

OP, can you check if the hitch p/n you listed is correct? Can't find anything on the Internet. The closest match is PT228-69045.

Best and cleanest running boards I have seen. OEM super clean...looks very factory.
***I recommend NOT painting them as the semi-flat black finish blends nicely with
the black lower trim on the front/rear bumpers.
Some people paint it and not the bumper trim, then it looks mismatched.
Some running boards have some weird trim that runs up along the front wheel
well....very strange and unnatural looking.
These running boards on the RX makes the car look more complete, compliments
the RX's design lines, adds ground effects, and makes it easier to wash top of car.

I can not find part number for the tow hitch. However, i can find PT228-69045. Everywhere I call about this hitch, no one can look any pictures. i am trying to figure out if the PT228-68045 got discontinued and replaced with a different design, or was it just a typo on the above listed part number.
It would save $100 to go with the toyota tow hitch but I just want to confirm that it looks the same as the Lexus. I do not care for the appearance of the other non-OEM aftermarket hitches.
i would appreciate any help from anybody who has used the toyota hitch on a Lexus. I have a 2008 Rx 400H.

did you get P/N PT228-69045 for your Lexus? Does it look the same as the Lexus tow hitch?
I just got a 08 Lexus rx 400h.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but those guys that have these specific running board, how much lower is it from factory? Is it possible to take a measurement from the bottom of the door down?
