lemme know if you need a video and i'll throw one together soon. Also, which air filter is the best for city environments? I would get a K&N but in hong kong those things would be hard to maintain. I would much rather get disposable and keep changing every 3 - 4 months (yes, its filthy here).
You are replying to a two year old question, RuninRoach, and not the question posed in the previous post by uscmas412 who is concerned about the fit of the air box after he replaced the engine air filter.

It should fit flush. You will need to loosen everything back up again and try to get them aligned. With the lid lifted a bit it should go together. Rock it back-and-forth as needed. Force may be required but remember these are plastic parts.

you got to keep trying to set the left side flush just like right side, first make the left side set then right side will get right. You left side does not flush not a good sign, dust will get in. Takes a little while to make it right. Would advise take a picture after job completion.

Welcome to Club Lexus!

I found this video by doing a quick search on youtube:

If you need a DIY for the cabin air filter, here's a link: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ent-rx350.html

I've used K & N for many years on my Lexus(es) and Toyota(s)......AND I live in the country so that definitely says something! They are well worth the dollars spent if one abides by the changing periods (stated on the box)

The 2nd time I changed the air filter, I took the time to loosen the host clamp that secures the housing top to the intake so the top could be swung out more. That way it's easier to make sure that the new filter is seated properly. My 2 cents.
