Thanks and Goodbye
I want to say thanks to everyone here for the years of help and great discussion. After being a member since 2003, we've moved out of our remaining Lexus to another brand CUV. We traded-in our RX330 at about 96K miles. It was a great vehicle but began needing unexpected and expensive maintenance. So we made the tough keep vs. sell decision and are trying something different.
Club Lexus has been the best car group/forum I've belonged to and will miss the great help and support.

I just want to say good luck with your new purchase my friend, I hope it treats you well. And remember, we`re here if and when you switch back.

Good luck with your GMC. I really like this forum and all the help given but have to admit I'm looking forward to my "goodbye" from our RX. The prospect of the expensive and unexpected maintenance costs keeps me from enjoying it like I should. Wife loves it though, so it will be around for awhile.

Funny, I have got off GMC Acadia to Lexus RX.
I liked it but it was too big and too much money to pay for car that is most time parked at the house.
For 30,000 miles i didn't have a single problem. Expected SW update two times for transmission and recall for steering column. But a lot people had problems with sunroof leaking, steering, rear hatch opening. (check Acadia forum). A lot lemon cars was delivered in the first year or so.
Lexus has a higher wind noise, but quieter road noise and more soft feel. GMC is more like a truck(SUV). Both cars same transmission hesitation at lower speeds.
I liked XM radio in GMC and a third row was useful a couple times.
Of course GMC was a brand new, where Lexus is used, but safes me about 200 a month including local luxury tax x 2, fuel, car payments, insurance.
