Default VSA/ABS/Traction light flashing all at once!! HELP.

All these lights turned on at the same time. Didn't hit anything, full tank of gas, traveling at 45 mph. No check engine light either. I started the car off and on a few times to 'recycle' the systems, but lights stay on.
Car drives/brakes fine, no issues.

Anyone have this problem? Solution? Wheel sensor??
Called the Lexus dealer, the service guy had never heard of this problem before, sounded like a kid on the phone though...

2008 RX350 front wheel drive with 46K miles. Still under warranty thankfully.

Something similar. Same lights, although they were on solid. Turned out it was the brake light switch starting to fail.

Thanks for the reply. The VSA light is flashing, but the Traction Control symbol and ABS light are on solid. Dealer appt. on Thursday....this better be covered under warranty.

BTW, how much did your brake light switch cost you?

I have the same year model as you, warranty took care of it. No questions asked.

Wouldn't faulty brake light switch cause this? I remember reading something similar about a brake light switch triggering several completely unrelated warning lights simultaniously.

I have the same issues you described. I brushed off the 1st incident but it happened a second time and I have an apt. next week. Others who have experienced the same problems consistently say brake light switch so that is what I am going to tell them when I turn it in. Yes it's nice to still have warranty for this!

Update: It was NOT the brake light switch. A left front wheel sensor wires are loose and will require a new sensor (price is $260). Dealer thinks the sensor was damaged due to an accident??? My car was never hit before....they agreed to cover under warranty.
Total price if without warranty is $450 (part + labor).

Really? Well good for you.

Mine had the same issue, but it was the brake switch. Warranty, just because I had extended warranty.

I experienced the same issue a month ago except that my check engine light also came on.
I didn't want to drive it because of the check engine light. I thought Lexus could turn that against me by saying something further was wrong because I continued to operate the vehicle. Lexus Road-Side-Service came to my home, put the RX on a trailer and towed it in for repair. Dealer said it was a failed oxygen sensor that caused the check engine lite to turn on and probably sent a spike into the system causing the other lights to turn on. Has worked fine ever since. No charges involved.
