MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard. It's considered ideal for sub enclosures but it might be a little difficult for this application. I like the idea of using fiberglass because it can be made to fit the contours of the space. Problem is, I've never worked with it. ED is Elemental Designs. I have one of their 10's in an IB set-up in rear deck of my GS. Their SQ10 is only 3 inches deep and works in .5 sq ft enclosure.
