Default Modifications?

Has anybody done any aftermarket modifications like replacing intake with K&N high performance fuel injection intake kit, removing stock baffle box? Re-tuned the PCM powertrain control module for quicker accelerator response and higher shift points? Any other mods to get a little more out of our RX?

I've never tried the fuel injection intake before but i've had the injen cold air on my old car and to be honest the only difference is the sound they make. Intakes sound deadly but you've got to be in the high rpms to hear it. Power wise they claim to give you some but you won't notice it.

I've had a different experience modifying my RX. I have a 2005 RX330, I removed the stock intake system and replaced it with a Weapon R cold-air intake. After this I had a custom exhaust system installed. I have not had it on a dyno since these upgrade but there is a world of difference in acceleration. Another added benefit is that I get about 100km/60miles extra out of a tank of gas.

I added a thread a few months ago with photos of both.

The next project is I want to replace the rotors and pads for better braking, I;m thinking EBC or KVR slotted rotors.

I hope this helps

100kms extra!!!! that's kinda hard to believe but you never know. What exhaust is that? Even without the gains that's gotta sound pretty nice. Can you post the thread? Sorry for the thread jack op
