It is available for the 2010 and 2011 for $1200 I just forgot which generation I was in for this post. I have it order on my 450h that will be in port on the 15th

Heads up display. It's basically a digital speedometer that gets displayed on your windshield below eye level so you can see your speed without looking down at your tach. HUD is not available on the rx that I know of and it was about a $1500 on the x5. It looked pretty cool from the passenger seat but hard to say how helpful it is, I'd buy it if it was an option tho lol
10 years ago I came across a program using a HUD by Denso. I wonder why after 10 years it is still a costly upgrade especially if it tied up with better safety.

because they can get that amount of money for it. It is like the LED headlamps for the 450h do you think that when it cost $1825 they are not making a few extra dollars in profit off of them
