Default Bluetooth Help?

Getting Bluetooth for the wife was one of the reasons that I bought the RX. But it's not working very well. When I call her while she's in the RX the signal is terrible. You can't carry on a conversation. She has an iPhone, is there something that can be done to help. Now from the RX I've been in the car when she's got a call and the sound thru the speakers is perfect. So from inside the car you would think it was working great.

All I can say is make sure the iphone is not in her purse in the back seat. I love love love the RX BT system. Best I have ever had and I have had some of the best out there. So I wonder if it's just AT&T or your phone that is the culprit.

Make sure you are talking into the mic that's near the front in the headliner.

Don't know what year your RX is, but I think a lot of the problems with BT are phone related.

My 2006 RX400h worked fine with my Samsung Instinct, but my current HTC Legend does some weird things. Sometimes takes two or three minutes to actually connect to the car, other times connects in seconds. Also when calling from the phone, it connects the call, but there is no audio for 15-20 seconds, but if I dial out from the NAV screen in the car, it connects the audio instantly.

Weird, and unfortunately, I don't think there are updates for the Lexus, the way you can update the phone.
