Default MAF Cleaner

Several owners have used CRC MAF Cleaner but the instructions on the can say not to use on MOST Lexus Cars. Is it safe for use on the RX330?

You can use isopropyl alcohol to clean MAF, it's fine for all cars. However, be careful cleaning MAF, it will cost some money if you damage it.

Welcom to the Club.

I'll have to look at the can next time I see it, but I've been using that stuff ever since I got back from Mexico on my MAF and never an issue as long as I let it dry thoroughly. I just used it on Friday to clean the MAF sensor on our 06 4Runner.

The other thing you can use from CRC if you are worried about it is their electrical contacts cleaner. I have to use it when I can't find the MAF Cleaner at the storer.

BTW, I clean my MAF quite frequently given I don't use an air filter with my modifications.
