I have had my RX 350 for 4 years and have only replaced the blades once.

If you clean your blades with Isopropyl alcohol every few weeks. You will clean the dirt from them. Which is the cause of the streaking windows.

Every few cleanings wipe them with silicone lubricant. So they don't dry out. Much cheaper the 3 new blades.

Folks, I think I just found the cheapest set of OEM inserts for the RX. Over at lexuspartsnow.com:

85214-AE010 $ 4.56 (passenger)
85214-0E020 $ 6.13 (driver)
85214-0E010 $ 3.73 (rear)

So that's $ 14.42 for the set.

By the way, I switched over to the Bosch Icon for the front wipers, and put them through the wringer during the recent spell of inclement weather. They are worth every penny.

The parts at the site above are nicely priced; however, the shipping is high. I picked up the front/passenger inserts at the Lexus dealer and the total was $19.50. I priced at the site above and the total (including shipping) was $18.56.

Been using Bosch Icon's. Happy with it. Steep buy works good. Just do not know how long it will last without streaking. Have to do the alcohol wipe routine if it starts streaking.
