Default RX 330 Mirrors

We had to put a new battery in the 2004 RX. Now the mirrors don't angle down when the car is in reverse. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hmmmm....thats odd. I know in the manual it will tell you how to reset the power window`s etc. but I dont know if it will tell you anything about the mirror`s. Try disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes, and see if that clears it up. Also make sure the mirror switch is not in the middle position,if it is,they wont tilt down.

Thanks. We'll try that. I'll let you know how it comes out.

do you have the mirror switch either in the left or right position?

the mirrors will not angle down in reverse if the switch is in the middle

Dude, I mentioned that already. "Also make sure the mirror switch is not in the middle position,if it is,they wont tilt down."

Tried both suggestions. Still no angle down when in reverse.

Thanks for the tips though.

Maybe check the fuse? Does it go sideways?

If it goes up/down manually, then it's not the gear drive or motors. Try manually running the mirror all the way down and then all the way up and then back to the normal position. This once helped mine.
