Official Toyota Oil Recommendation Chart
#31
I noticed a few different things; much better cold engine operation, better throttle response, pulls hills much better now.
P.S check my email to you from bitog. And I`m thinking some of those guy`s may suggest the Toyota 0W-20 oil. Supposed to be some really good stuff.

Yup. Been using it in winters since 2009. Only reason I wasn''t running it in summer was because I had a few jugs of 5w30 to use up. It's all used up now...going to be running the Toyota 0w20 all year. And before everyone posts about it being Canada, we get very hot/humid summers here in southern Ontario, easily seeing temps in the 30-35 celsius range during a normal summer.

How does it run on it?

Seems quieter to me at idle. Starts easily, even in bitter cold (compared to my wife's 2010 Equinox, which sounds horrible in bitter cold starts). I did one UOA (on the original formula, which has since changed) and it was good. Thinking of doing a UOA on current fill, which is the new formula, but SM, not the new new new formula SN.
