I dont know why this is... but when I first bought the car, the interior looked awesome. still does... but i think its time for a change. I want to replace the instrument cluster lights from white to blue. Same for the dome lights, the center console & shifter, the illuminated door sills. All of them I think would look better if it were a blue color. I seen the blue led lights on the big auction site, but im wondering where else i can get these lights. Has anybody done something like this? I noticed the sticky on the 2nd generation, but im just curious if anyone did a different color

I too have been thinking about this of late. The green and white still look great in the car but it would be interesting to get a different colour combination. From reading a lot of threads, this topic has come up before. There are certain limitations as to what can and can't be done, without necessarily ruining the "soft" and "lux" feel of the interior. The blue LED's for now look great, and most newer cars have them (including the later gen's of our car) as they are a popular colour. The door sills, radio nav/stack, memory buttons on the door are the main considerations for me. I understand the door sills are quite difficult to change the colour due to the way the bulb is designed and situated (apparently sealed). Radio/nav stack & memory buttons probably can be done just a PITA.

There are venders on here that supply some LED's, but I have bought mine from here:www.superbrightleds.com. I have White and Blue LED's installed in different lights.
