Has anyone installed the new design rear reflector led?

I've attached a pic in case you haven't seen it. I think it's on the 2010 Toyota Harrier in Japan. It looks good, apparently you need to drill a hole and tap into existing wiring. Wondering if anyone has seen this before? and possibly seen a picture of one installed.

Be interested to see. Looks very similar to these ones that are also on ebay (difference being that these have a red strip across the top half).

looks great, just wonder if you can actually install it legally. cars are supposed to have a red reflector on the rear of the vehicle, and since there isnt one in out taillights, thats the only one left.
if they were red reflectors with lights, and lit up with the DRL's that would be good too.

do these lights come with that top plastic lip thing? i would think the rear bumper lights would look kind of weird with a plastic piece hanging out.
