Default Anyone put Yokohama tires on their 330?

About to buy some tires and heard good things about these. Wondering if anyone has experience with the Parada's. Input is valued.

I have the Yokohama Avid Envigor, superb rain tires. I had a set on my RX300 in 16 inch size as well.

I've only had this 330 a few days and it had Falkens on it when I got it. It was roaring so badly I really thought the wheel bearing had gone. When I put the Yokes on it the noise went away completely.

I think you'll be happy with the Yokohamas.

Thanks for the input. I just went ahead and pulled the trigger on some tonight. Glad to hear they ride quietly.

Man,that RX looks good! Do you miss your 300? I do a little. But certainly like all the bell`s and whistles, much, much better turning radius, much better handling, lighted door sills etc.

I have to admit, I like the 330 better as an automobile. I like the features, handling, looks, even the leather seems to be better.

But, after spending days reading about the 2gen I don't believe it is a good a car as the 300. My theory is the early Lexus were overbuilt because they had to establish themselves as a serious competitor and from about 2003 on the quality was slipping.

Not that they are bad cars, they are just becoming more ordinary. A rear wheelbearing going out on a 300 was so rare as to be cause for discussion. It's an issue for the 330. Leaky headlight? We got 'em. Engine noises? You bet. Lots of little things that that require more attention sooner.

Having said that, I wouldn't go back to my 300 after having this 330. It's a better design but execution and materials aren't up to the bulletproof standards of the 300.

RX300 was the original so it will never be matched.

Ya know,I have to agree with you for the most part here. I feel that I could run the snot out of my 01,and it was very forgiving. My 05 seem`s a little wimpier in that department. But, at least the transmissions, turning radius, and air flow sensor`s are much better.

After I learned that the Continental DWS tires (recommended by Consumer Reports, and having high customer reviews on tirerack.com) were on backorder until May, I went ahead and put a set of the Paradas on our 2005 for a recent roadtrip to Colorado.

I'm very happy to say that the Paradas handle extremely well in both snow and wet conditions. And perhaps most importantly, the road noise is comparable to that of the original Michelins - at a fraction of the price!

Added perk - the sidewalls are slightly more convex than the stock Michelins - helping to protect the rims from curb rash!

I have the Parada X as well.
They are a little chunkier so they look much better on our narrow wheels.

Just put Michelin Latitudes Tour $950.00 with free replacement if damaged due to damage, had b/s alenzas I thought they were very noisey and rough esp. compared to the new Mich, they are quite and ride much better. supposedly better MPG due to less rolling resistance. the tires alone were $220.00 each.

The Latitudes are a scale down versus the MXV4 Energy?

I have to get a new set soon and tye Parada's are sounding good. How much are the Parada's installed? And where do it get it cheapest?
