Dropped my car off to the dealer and when I got it back there was no volume at all from the stereo even though the CD player, Radio is working. When I turn the volume control nothing happens or shows up on the display and same with tone controls. Has anyone encountered this in their RX 350?

Mute? Is there a mute button?

 

The RX300 had a mute button. But not the 330 or 350.

 

I had car come back and cd would not accept discs. Located the audio fuse under the hood, pulled out the fuse and pushed it back in. Works perfect...sort of like rebooting the computer. Doesn't hurt to try. If not, back to the dealer.

On the RX30 you can mute the whole system by holding down the Mode button for a couple of seconds.

 

Found out the cause to the problem. Had an aftermarket adapter installed to allow me to hook up my iPod and this adapter was acting up. Had to unhook it and then hook it back to get the two units to reset.
