Definitely keep us posted. I am also just looking for a front lip that will go with the side skirts that are already on the car.

Good to hear infinirx. Are you going to put the front on first without the sides or back and give us a picture of how the RX would look with just the front bar and OEM sides

Um Trust me it will not look right. but if the opportunity rises sure. I would ask my body shop to do it though.

Yeah I figure that it would not, but it would be interesting to see (should the opportunity arise).

Here are the pictures with just the front and rear lips with no skirt on OEM wheels that I posted maybe 2 years ago.

I'll have updated pictures within 2-3 weeks when all the other parts are on

Thanks Veleno. So that is the WALD kit yeah? It actually works out okay from the looks of it. It's not as bad as I thought it was going to look without the side skirts.

My bad, yep can see the design difference now. Either way it still looks good without the side skirts.

It looks great! You should just paint the side skirts to give it a more oem look.

Thanks for the comp. I have the full kit (front, sides, rear), I just took the sides off for this picture as I had a request to take one without the side skirts

veleno nice kit. like to see it finished. It's gonna really fill in the dead black space where the side skirts are. Love your car color..

Thanks, I like the light blue on your car as well!

Here is the old thread with some pictures:

I've since done some changes and should have updated pictures posted up in 2-3 weeks.

Car looks good with the side skirts on. Interestingly the side skirts almost have the same design and shape as the stock ones, so one could feasibly paint it to match in. Car looks good.

^^ too much work. Just get the skirts and paint those.

The plastic on OEM pieces for all cars are a ***** to work with, and even if done properly, there is always the risk of it peeling off with time. A lot of the VW guys do this on their oem valence covers to paint match and they never last... Same kind of material here, that is used on the RX. Not to mention the amount you're gonna spend to lay paint on an OEM piece.

Whereas the aftermarket skirt will always look better since it sits lower to match the low slung profile of the lips.
