Default I've decided to install nav and a backup camera...

I love my 330 but I genuinely fear I'm going to run over some idiot who doesn't have the sense not to walk behind a moving car. I just can't see behind this thing!

I've decided to get a Kenwood 6960, it has all the bells and whistles, Garmin nav, blue tooth, CMOS 200 backup camera, DVD. It'll even play Netflix from my iPhone!

I played with one at Best Buy and the screen is amazing. I ordered the faceplate and harness from beatsonic, dvd/nav bypass from ebay, CMOS 200 camera from Amazon and I'll buy the unit from Car Toys here in Dallas, they will install all this stuff including a steering control adapter.

This is what it looks like installed, pretty nice and I can promise you it's going to save some old lady's life!

The Kenwood has a programmable startup screen so they will put a Lexus logo on it.
Now that I've decided I'm excited! If they will let me I plan to take pictures of the install to post here.

Looks great. My only concern would be that it sits to low. Wife is shorter? so maybe it works better for her?

Also if you wouldn't mind PM me the estimate on this install. I also live in North Texas and was interested in the Car Toys operation.

My plan is to have them tilt the HU up at least 2mm, perhaps more if there is sufficient room. When I looked at the Kenwood at Best Buy it had a great field of view so I think it'll work out fine.

I find I rarely look at the nav devices I use now, I just wait to be told what to do (not currently married but I remember how to mind. ).

The cost will be substantial but I am convinced I will murder some idiot if I don't get a back up camera.

Carter, maybe you should get brighter reverse lights and a voice that shouts "get the F out of the way" I hear you, most people are walking brain dead. It's even worse with the hybrid. Good luck with your install.

Great minds, I actually thought about that. In my best Texas accent: "Y'all best get yo dumb azzes out of my way or I'll mash you like a June bug on a windshield!"

Then I thought I'd just have old ladies dying of heart attacks rather than running over them or have some cowboy ****** me out of there and give me an old fashioned parking lot azz whipping.

Too funny, mine would be with a touch of Italian attitude I guess I'll save it for when they require hybrids to make some noise

Now who's the say you won't be distracted by all the toys on the Kenwood to still run over the little old ladies?

Mmmmm! Toys! I'm willing to risk a few old ladies to have good toys!
