Ipad 2 air vent mount for RX330?
I bought a Ipad 2, I wonder how can I mount the Ipad in the front air vent.
Which air vent mount should I buy?
Thanks

Is the screen any better on the II? I had big plans to use my gen1 in the car but unfortunately, I do most of my driving in the day time and the screen is so washed out as to be unusable.

That was my plan. Also with 3G it would have been a rolling entertainment center as well. It was just unusable in the car during the day because of the washout.
If I had to do it over I would have done what I'm doing right now, installing a Kenwood. Probably that flip up single din since I was still driving the 300.

I don't think there is a vent mount for an iPad (1 and 2). It's just too big to hang on the flimsy fins of a vent. They have vent mounts for phones and GPSs because they are small enough to be mounted to a vent.
As for mounting an iPad to your dash, that would require some serious dash modifications, cutting, fabricating, fiberglassing, and/or painting. Good luck.

I stand corrected, ProClipUSA makes an iPad mount that mounts in the air vents. The ProClip mount is a little more rugged than standard vent mounts.

But you might want to do more research on it before doing it though. The size of the iPad could easily block the dashboard climate controls of an RX.
