Michelins should go longer than 20,000 miles.

I've had Goodyear Assurance tires on 5 cars now. Amazing tire, quiet too. You can't get that exact tire in an 18" though, so they make an even cooler looking version called the Fortera (I think they're standard on Grand Cherokees). cost a couple hundred each as I recall, but have a 60K warranty. You guys are rich right? Don't balk at the price, they're worth it. Made my already quiet car 20% quieter, and they're rated for snow as well.

got the bridgestones dueler alenzas- really quiet, did well in the rain, won't know about snow until winter. they were $221 each plus installation.

the michelin reviews on tirerack consistently complained about the tread wearing out quickly. also have a friend with the same vehicle, said the same thing about the michelins he got as OEM's- needed to be replaced after 23,000 miles.

+1, the new Assurance ComforTred Touring is what we just put on our RX. After two sets of Michelin MXV and two sets of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza, we are very pleased with the new touring tire from Goodyear. It also has a 70,000 mile treadlife warranty.
