Changed air filter on 04 RX 330 for the first time and had to search for answers for what is a simple DIY. The screw in the back of the airbox closest to the firewall was missing and I will use the suggestions recommended in this thread to find a replacement screw at HD or ACE.
The next search I had to do was for attaching back the vacuum hoses that attach to the airbox front side. While lifting the airbox box, 1 came off, then another that is attached to a small plastic holder for 3 vents. Then while exploring why it was so easy for the hoses to detach, the plastic holder fell into the engine. It went all the way down into the undercarriage engine cover and I had to remove that to retrieve.

I discovered the reason why the vacuum hoses disconnected easily was because there is a holding back that is not attached to anything and appears to be missing a screw. Now the hunt will be to find that screw size and exactly where to attach. Any help is appreciated.

Mine isn't attached to anything, the three hoses keep it in one place.

There you go problem solved! You need to get the "T" and plug away. Best bet is to go to xmazon. Good luck.
