I have 8,000 miles on the Parada Spec-X with my 2007 400h, and love the handling and snow traction. Mileage is about the same as with the crappy OEM Michelins.
I run them a 40 psi based on tire shop's rec, and the only issue is they are a little jarring when I hit a speed bump too quickly, or catch one of Chicago's delightful craters.

I have an '08 RX350 and I put the Bridgestone Ecopia 422s on about a month ago. So far, so good - very pleased. I immediately noticed how much quieter they are, both city and freeway driving. I was told I'd get better gas mileage (1 to 1.5 MPG)...truthfully I haven't really noticed that. I should point out that I bought the car in September from my sister in law, so I'm not so sure I'd notice the gas mileage improve based on that short ownership time. But I can say they are a major improvement from the previous tires (she had an expensive set of Big-Os brand tire). Oh, and the Ecopia handles well in the rain. Like I said, I'm very satisfied...just from the noise reduction alone. Before I couldn't have a conversation while driving, now I hardly notice that I'm driving...it's so dang quiet!!!

Bridgestone Ecopia 422s on mine and I have been happy! I run them on 32 to 34 psi. Just right.

Got 14" of snow here this weekend and havent seen a plow around our neighborhood yet. The Kumhos are working just as well as the Michelin LTX's on my Envoy. Stopping is decidedly not as good but drifts are not a problem for the Kumhos.

The worst time to look for tires is when you MUST have them. Always better to be proactive, to understand what you need and what is available, for when it comes time. That way you get the best tire for your needs at a price you can afford.

Planning and saving would not be a bad idea. However, you do not say how many miles are on your current tires nor do you say anything about the condition they are in. How much tread is left? How are they wearing? Have you been rotating them on a regular basis?

I guess i can answer a few points: My mileage was just over 60k at the time, i just broke 90k a few months back.
My friend supervises the Lexus service garage at my local Lexus dealership (why i bought a Lexus); i needn't bother with rotation or alignment as his crew checks that for me... They would also tell me when/if my tread was getting low. Last i checked myself i wasnt balding.
I was just asking what my expectations were, in advance, this year based on experiences of other RX owners and tires.
I can provide information such as my tire brands tomorrow when i check my car in the morning before work. I do know the front and back are different brands.

I have a '07 RX350 AWD, and it's time to get new tires. I am currently debating between two sets that have been recommended to me by the dealership & Costco:
Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza 235/55R18 100V
Michelin Energy MXV4 S8 P235/55R18 99V
The cost is in the same ballpark so that's not too a major factor. My naivety tells me to buy the one that has more tread depth (so it lasts longer) but I don't know if I ought to be basing my decision on that.
FYI I live in Southern California which gets no snow and very little rain. My driving habits are for normal street roads and highways, no dirt roads or narrow/winding roads. Any advice is appreciated.

Just because it has more tread depth doesn't mean it will last longer. You have to compare the UTQG, although that too should only compared within' a company's tire line up.
